HEMA is a unique combination of historical martial art and modern sport. During our Monday evening training sessions we practise techniques from manuscripts from the late Middle Ages that describe how to fight with one-handed swords and small round shields (bucklers). We use modern protective gear and training swords, in order to bring the techniques of the old masters back to life in a fun and safe environment.
